We sure are living in the times of Compact, Easy and Fast. The need for human involvement is diminishing and it does feel intimidating.
Very recently, a young professional reached out to me for a Coaching session. He wanted to see his life transform super-fast and asked me how many sessions it will take for him to see the change.
I asked him,” What’s the hurry?”
Fact is, Fast is considered Efficient. Cheap is considered Best and Automation is considered more Trustworthy.
I cannot imagine who I would be without the short yet joyful interactions I have had with people over the years which includes the Taxi guys, the grocery person, hotel staff, fruit sellers, laundry person etc.
I hope in the times to come we are never fully satisfied with machines. I hope we always crave for human exchange and don’t mind waiting a little extra for things to show up.
